This toy does not teach anything about responsibility like a real pet does. And it will likely be in a landfill within a year. The $200 you spend on this could help build a fresh water well for people in Africa. There are organizations like Dollar for a Drink who could use that $200 to create much more joy and happiness than your six year old will ever get out of this piece of conspicous consumption.
